Sharon Hall
Chief Financial Officer, Owner
Sharon’s Matrix-like power to perceive and control numbers makes her CU Strategic Planning’s resident Neo.
With over 30 years of financial expertise, Sharon came to CU Strategic Planning having most recently served as CEO of CDFI-Certified Express Credit Union and Executive Director of Express Advantage, a 501(c)(3) organized to serve the needs of low income individuals and families in Washington State by helping them achieve their financial goals.
Through her work with Express Advantage and Express Credit Union, Sharon developed innovative, benchmark-setting programs to effectively deliver financial services to low income consumers and the unbanked, helping them build assets and achieve financial security.
Before managing the credit union and its nonprofit, Sharon spent over 11 years as part of the senior management team at the Washington Credit Union League—now the Northwest Credit Union Association. Her duties there included overseeing the financial integrity of the association, its for-profit subsidiary and its nonprofit foundation, as well as management of association human resources and information technology.
Sharon received her Bachelor of Science from Griffin College. Today, in addition to her superhuman numerical skills, Sharon enjoys church, running, playing piano, wrangling two wild Brittany spaniels, hanging out with her daughter Adriana and husband Ron, and spending time outdoors at the Hall family cabin on the Kitsap Peninsula.
No fair weather fan, Sharon is a Seahawks superfan and regular season ticket holder where you can find her at Lumen Field cheering on her team—rain or shine (and there’s plenty of the former here in the Pacific Northwest).
