The vision of its future CEO will be supported by the over $11.5 million in US Treasury awards it received in the past five years, which includes five CDFI grants and US Treasury secondary capital.

The Ideal Candidate

​

• Has experience leading a CDFI credit union and is committed to substantial lending to increase financial inclusion for diverse populations in the community, including low- to moderate-income borrowers.

 

• Understands the DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia region and can help grow the financial footprint of the organization in the area.

 

• Can lead and coach an engaged staff to achieve the credit union's strategic objectives.

 

• An advanced degree is desirable and credit union leadership is preferred.
