Christopher Verdosci
CUDE
Vice President, Business Development
You can take the boy out of New England, but you can never diminish his love for a good clam chowder or shorts from Vineyard Vines.
An East Coast Yankee transplant, CU Strategic Planning’s Christopher Verdosci was born and raised in Connecticut and Rhode Island. After earning his degree in Design from the International Fine Arts College in Miami, his career path began in fashion and included an evening wear line under his own private label. Fashion lead to publishing, where he began styling product and editorial layouts for Ocean Drive, Fashion Spectrum, Latina and Modern Salon. Seeking the character behind the garments, Christopher’s career muse then lead him to opera, joining the San Francisco Opera in the year 2000.
A pinch of luck and a dash of serendipity brought Christopher to CU Strategic Planning. Having served as a first-hand witness to the impact of the mortgage crisis on low to moderate income families in San Francisco, Christopher was immediately taken by the inspiring work our client credit unions have on their communities. His dedication to partnership development for credit unions is informed by his understanding of community development issues through the immersive process of becoming a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE).
Christopher lives in Palm Springs, California with the love of his life Jeff, and where they serve the daily needs of their home’s true feline owners: Phoebe, Rocco and Renzo.
Christopher volunteers his time at the Palm Springs Air Museum and the Palm Springs Animal Shelter. He’s also a frequent guest lecturer at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and several resident young artist programs. A complete package, he loves to cook, travel, spend time with loved ones, relax by the pool and work in his vegetable garden.
