We understand credit unions because we’re credit union people. Founded in 2008, we’re a fully employee-owned firm with a team of experienced professionals who have spent their careers working in and alongside credit unions. In 2024, we joined forces with Callahan & Associates, combining complementary expertise, innovative solutions, and a shared dedication to strengthening and advancing the credit union movement.
We are the national leaders in CDFI credit unions and in credit union community development. We help credit unions obtain CDFI certification and secure the grants that designation makes possible, and we partner with credit unions that are committed to community development regardless of certification status. Our work helps credit unions deepen their community development strategies, expand lending to the underserved, and increase measurable impact.

What is Credit Union Community Development?
Community development empowers credit unions to serve as anchors of economic opportunity by expanding access and by building inclusive financial resilience within the communities they serve. Community development represents purposeful connection to community. Purposeful connection to community refocuses on the long-standing credit union mission of people helping people and our cooperative roots. Through this refocusing, it makes credit unions indispensable to their communities.
