Sean was inspired to join CU Strategic Planning when he realized he could combine his love of numbers and analytical skills with his passion for making a difference in people’s lives, by helping credit unions change their communities. Grant Compliance Administrator is right in his wheelhouse.

He comes to us from a social services background, making him very familiar with the ins and outs of governmental program regulations. Before that, wide range of experience (including one job that took him to 44 states, once logging 90,000 miles in three months) has equipped him well for taking care of our clients and ensuring grant funds are properly reported and administered. With a math major background, he speaks the language of numbers and finds handling budgets and figures very satisfying.

Sean lives in a small town near Greensboro, NC, and provides the occasional cheering section when his wife shows their three dogs in competition (the two cats stay at home). At other times, you’ll find him watching movies—he likes them all, but we have a feeling we know what his favorite genre is, since he says he’s seen every superhero movie ever made.
