Daniel has an appreciation for and understanding of the intricacies of the financials that are at the foundation of every credit union, and the qualities that can make them thrive. He’s been in accounting and the financial industry his whole career and has put that experience to work with us on our Financial team, operating with a precision that quickly earned him the nickname Daniel Dimes.

His early work as an auditor for accounting firms prepared him to move into the highly-regulated world of credit unions, where he found that the people helping people ideals of the movement meshed perfectly with his passions. Now he’s able to assist credit unions all over the country help their members and change their communities.

Daniel was born in Michigan and has spent most of his life there, including earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Central Michigan University. He and his wife have their evenings and weekends full—with three kids each playing two travel sports each (and his own ten years as a youth hockey coach), he’s forgotten the meaning of the phrase “down time.” But they make the most of their traveling for games and tournaments by turning the trips into mini vacations whenever possible. When they are at home, their one-year-old Sheepadoodle makes sure they don’t have a chance to get too relaxed.
