Client Relations Assistant

Do you find peace when everything is in its place? Do you hear birds sing when every box is checked, “i” is dotted, and “t” is crossed? Are you able to locate errors in data with exacting detail? Can you diplomatically reassure clients with grace and aplomb?

If you’re interested in a full-time position at a small, Tacoma-based company that works with non-profit financial institutions across the country inventing poverty-reduction programs, consider coming to work for us. We’re looking for someone to serve as a Client Relations Assistant. Remote work is available for the right candidate.

CU Strategic Planning is the premier consulting firm working with credit unions dedicated to serving low-income consumers. Our staff members have endearingly been called “miracle makers” because our innovative and passionate team is motivated by the belief that credit unions, as not for profit financial cooperatives, are ideally positioned to reduce consumer vulnerability and create solutions for the underbanked.

Our Client Relations Assistant plays a key role in the organization working with our national client base to gather the thousands of crucial data points which go in to creating financial programs designed to benefit consumers who need it the most, including navigating online government systems to insure the accurate completion of complex applications. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, organized, dependable, detail-oriented, diplomatic and professional.

Job Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality over client information.

  • Full confidence in using Excel and other administrative software, including Adobe Acrobat.

  • Comfortable communicating via video conferencing and teleconference.

  • Ability to provide a reassuring and knowledgeable presence for clients during an occasionally stressful process.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently, including under high stress circumstances and while balancing multiple deadline-driven projects.

  • Professionalism and diplomacy, particularly in interactions with clients.

  • Resourcefulness and confidence in finding solutions.
